Katie Jayne Begley



Katie started at Foster Wilson Architects after recently completing her Part III Advanced Diploma in Architectural Professional Practice at RIBA North West. For her Part I and II degrees, Katie studied at Newcastle University.

Her passion lies in creating architecture within the public sector that is socially responsive and that relates and connects with communities. During her Part II studies, Katie built on her many years of experience volunteering at a children’s community amateur dramatics group, to design performing arts and community event spaces. She was also part of a small group of students who designed and built a public art sculptural installation that was part of the Emscherkunst Triennial arts festival in Duisburg, Germany and a stargazing pavilion in Stonehaugh, North East England which, was shortlisted for the 2015 AJ Small Project Awards.
